Our last viewing of you in mummy's tum tum!

Today Mommy and Daddy went to see Lorraine for our final ultrasound scan!  We are so excited for your arrival and just want to make sure that you are still happy in mommy's tummy and that you have enough nutrients and fluid before we meet you in person.  

Mommy is delighted to know that you are in the perfect position for natural birth.  You were very active and made it very hard for Lorraine to get a good view and measurements of your body parts.  Your feet are pressing against mommy's right hand side rib cage (yes it can be sore!)  Your bottom is above mommy's belly button and your head is engaged.  Today your femur length was measured at 72.0mm and your body weight is already 3.6kg.  We are expecting you to be weighing around 4kg at birth - that is if you do not arrive before next Saturday.  (You are going to have to blame Daddy's family for the very big tummy you going to have ... but to be honest we think you are going to look very cute with a round tummy)

Hurry up ... we want to meet you. x

The tale of Sharky.

You will still get to know Daddy and his friends ... 

...  all Daddy's friends have decided to nickname you Sharky in honour of the Sharks who won the Currie Cup.  So I am sorry if this nick name sticks with you - Blame Daddy and his Friends. x

We a bit late - what is new!

You will still learn that mommy battles to be on time and hence why we are only starting your own little blogspot towards the end of my pregnancy.  Anyway rather late than never and also thank you to Jo who gave mommy this excellent idea!  Mommy has enjoyed been pregnant but can't wait for your arrival.  The nursery is done, Daddy's bank account is depleted and we are all awaiting.  Everybody is so excited and Uncle Tuck can't wait to babysit you!  We hope to see you soon soon. x
